In this hog attack by yash we see 300+ of gold and elixir taken. Prooving that in the right hands hogs are still doing quite well at max level.

Elixir: 105,400

Loots (not counting the crystal rank bonus):
Gold: 318,000+
Elixir: 202,600+
Dark Elixir: -1,354

So this is a great result if you have about 2,000 dark elixir spare. Trading dark elixir for 300+ gold and 200+ normal elixir seems like a pretty good trade.
